‘I am Enough’

#71 - 21 x 30 cm - Ink on Paper

Somewhere I got in contact with this very interesting approach of Marisa Peer. She is a hypnotherapist and makes ‘change’ sound as a very easy thing to do.

As our internal (unconscious) beliefs, create our external world, she just says:”You just have to tell your brain what you want!”

Here is the video of her, that inspired me to make this work:

Crash course for Phenomenal succes by Marisa Peer

‘I forgive Myself’

#91 - 30 x 42 cm - Ink on Paper

Corona was (and still is) hitting our world. I was thinking about the idea, if I would find out that for example I got my mother infected, could I ever forgive myself? Making that more difficult of course if she would die, because of it. A very strong motivation for me, to stay at home and follow the rules given by our government.

‘Please, Come Closer’

#96 - 42 x 60 cm - Ink on Paper

On the 20th of March 2020 everybody in the Netherlands saw a huge amount of images on social and in the news, of people going to the beach, in groups as if we were living in a world before ‘Corona’. It got me intensely frustrated at home, enough inspiration to grap a piece of A2 and start getting rid of this frustration by simply writing. After hours my negative emotions fainted and the cherry on the ice for me was to write this pink post it on top of it, with the thinnest ink pen available, 0.05 mm.
