The Illusion of Control

Some people believe we are in total control over our life. You are responsible for your succes or failures. Other people prefer to give their control over their lives to an external ‘source’.

What do we have control over, according to the latest scientific research? And if you take a closer look to ‘Personality’ they say:

50% DNA

47% Surroundings

3% Upbringing

But who is responsible for your surroundings during your first – lets say in average – 15 years of your life?

And will your personality change indeed when you start choosing your own surroundings?

And what about habitual patterns rooted in your upbringing? Or the unconscious psychological patterns in your system created by your surroundings?
